This upgraded edition of the kid-friendliest basketball sim features ten pint-sized NBA pros like Shaquille O’Neal, Vince Carter and Kevin Garnett. There’s also 30 neighborhood ball players ready to shoot some hoops. Like the original, kids pick their favorite players and uniforms, choose a court and control all the action. Mini- games let kids practice their skills, which is good, because in-game play requires quick dribbling, accurate passing and aggressive shooting. A little practice goes a long way, and kids can quickly jump into the action, playing a single game or an entire season. Stats are kept, game play is fast-paced, and humor is ever present via fun characters and commentary. As with past versions of this program, this is a fun program, and a great way for kids to learn about the game of basketball.
